    INTERESTS

Combing pathology and molecular biology, the aim of our group is to unravel the molecular mechanisms in cancer progression and chemotherapeutic drug resistance.

    Our research focuses on:

    Cellular Stress related to Cancer:
    - Validation and characterization of novel Mnk1/2 inhibitors.
    - Characterization of ITGB3 as a potential therapeutic target.

Intra tumor heterogeneity and clonal cooperation:
Taking advantage of having the expertise and availability of primary tumors in the Pathology department and the molecular and cell biological expertise in the research group, we are in a privileged position to study the different aspects of tumor biology at the pathological and molecular level at the same time.

Keywords: pathology, cancer, tumor heterogeneity, clonal cooperation, cellular stress
