    She is an expert in neuromuscular diseases and degenerative motor neuron diseases, specifically in ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), among other pathologies. Throughout her career she has combined her care work with teaching, currently being a postgraduate professor in EMG and neuromuscular disorders at the University of Barcelona.
