    INTERESTS

He was initially focused on the study of the molecular mechanisms that intervene and regulate the processes of leukocyte adhesion, polarization, migration and activation.

His area of research has been extended in recent years to the interactions of lymphocytes with the endothelium, lymphocyte activation and migration directed by chemokines, as well as the role of adhesion and activation receptors, and of dendritic cells in the initiation of immune response, the immunological synapse and the regulation of the inflammatory response.
