  • PROFILE

    Pedro de la Villa is a professor of Physiology at the University of Alcalá. He is a doctor of medicine and did his postdoctoral training at the Seiriken National Institute of Physiological Sciences (Okazaki, Japan) and at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, in London. He is author of over 75 articles, has directed more than 15 Doctoral Theses and has been principal Investigator of 15 national and international research projects. He investigates the neurophysiology of the visual system, physiology of the retina, membrane ion channels, and neuromuscular physiology. (Read full CV).
