The conference From Innovation in Diagnostics to Host-Directed Therapies in Invasive Fungal Disease, taking place on 18–20 November 2026 at Forum Braga (Portugal), will explore emerging technologies transforming the field of fungal diseases, with a focus on host-directed medicine as an integrated approach for both personalized diagnosis and therapy. Advances in molecular tools, immune profiling, and host-fungus biology are enabling earlier detection, enhanced risk stratification, and innovative strategies that strengthen host defenses while complementing antifungal treatments.
