Dra. Barbas is a Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid and Director of the Centre for Metabolomics and Bioanalysis. Her research is focused on all the steps of metabolomics technologies using mass spectrometry for biomarker discovery. As of 2022 she’s the president of the Madrid section of the Spanish Royal Chemistry Society.
